Will the BÄRENPRANKE® fit under my gloves?
Yes. The BÄRENPRANKE® generally fits under all standard cycling gloves. That's why we offer two variants: AIR² SLIM was specially developed for thin and tight-fitting cycling gloves, while AIR² COMFORT is ideal for those who want to ride without gloves or with maximum comfort.
Can I also wear the BÄRENPRANKE® without gloves?
Yes. The AIR² COMFORT was designed specifically for this purpose. It offers maximum comfort and protects your palms even without additional cycling gloves. We recommend the AIR² SLIM for use with cycling gloves.
Why does black residue appear on your hand the first time you wear it?
Due to the production process, fine material residues may detach during initial use. Especially around the finger openings, slight black marks may appear on the skin.
These residues are completely harmless, can be easily removed with soap and water, and do not affect the function or quality of the BÄRENPRANKE®.
For an optimal start, we recommend briefly washing the BÄRENPRANKE® by hand before first use.

Does the BÄRENPRANKE® slip during the ride?
No. Thanks to its ergonomic design and elastic finger loops, the BÄRENPRANKE® sits securely on the hand and reliably stays in place even on long and demanding tours.
Do you sweat in it?
No – quite the opposite. Thanks to the patented AIR² technology with its ventilation openings, air circulation between the hand and the glove is improved. As a result, many riders wearing BÄRENPRANKE® and a glove even sweat less than with a conventional cycling glove alone.
Does BÄRENPRANKE® really help against pressure points and numb hands?
Yes. The BÄRENPRANKE® distributes pressure across the palm and reduces pressure points. This significantly reduces or even completely prevents pressure sores, blisters, and tingling and numbness.
