Does the BÄRENPRANKE® fit under my motorcycle gloves?
Yes. That's exactly what it was developed for.
The AIR² SLIM fits perfectly under close-fitting sports, enduro or motocross gloves.
We recommend the AIR² COMFORT for touring, adventure or cruiser gloves with a regular or wider cut, as well as for riders who prefer maximum comfort.
Do I need the BÄRENPRANKE® if I already have high-quality motorcycle gloves?
Yes – because motorcycle gloves and the BÄRENPRANKE® serve different purposes.

How do I find the right size?

Important: Please do not rely on your glove size, as it is not directly comparable to our sizes. For the BÄRENPRANKE®, finger measurements are crucial – not the overall hand size.
As a rough guide:
The following information serves as a rough guide and is based on our experience from many orders. Since every hand and every finger is individual, this information does not replace actual measurement.
S–M
- Often suitable for delicate hands and slender fingers.
- Often chosen by women with rather fine hands and fingers.
L–XL
- Suitable for average-sized hands and for fingers with normal to slightly stronger circumference.
- This is the right size range for many women and most men.
2XL–3XL
- Recommended for larger hands or fingers with a stronger circumference.
- Often chosen by men with larger or stronger hands and fingers.
4XL
- For very large hands or fingers with a significantly larger circumference.
Are you between two sizes?
Our tip: If you are between two sizes or are unsure, it's better to choose the larger size. The Bärenpranke should fit comfortably and not dig in, so that it can optimally fulfill its function. If the size chosen is too small, it will even achieve the opposite effect.
Note: The size S–M was developed for smaller or narrower hands and is too small for most men. Usually, L–XL is the right choice. When in doubt, we always recommend the larger size.
Why do black residues appear on my hand the first time I wear it?
Due to the production process, fine material residues may come loose during initial use. Especially around the finger openings, slight black marks may appear on the skin.
These residues are completely harmless, can be easily removed with soap and water, and do not affect the function or quality of BÄRENPRANKE®.
For optimal initial use, we recommend briefly handwashing the BÄRENPRANKE® before its first use.
Does BÄRENPRANKE® help with numb hands and tingling?
Many motorcyclists report that their hands remain relaxed for significantly longer with the BÄRENPRANKE®.
Numbness often results from sustained pressure and vibrations on the nerves and tissues of the palm.
The BÄRENPRANKE® distributes pressure over a larger area and reduces localized stress. However, if the discomfort is caused by other factors (e.g., a medical condition or motorcycle ergonomics), it naturally cannot remedy them.
Does that make for thicker or tighter gloves?
No.

Does the BÄRENPRANKE® slip during the journey?
No.
